Carlos Rosales
Co-Founder
Carlos Rosales is the founder of CR Express, est. 1999. Starting as a truck driver, Carlos’ entrepreneurial drive and hard work have propelled CR Express to become a leading service provider. With a fleet of over 150 trucks and more than 250 employees across 3 locations, the company has built a reputation for exceptional service and a customer-centric philosophy. Carlos’ visionary leadership and commitment to excellence have been instrumental in shaping CR Express into the successful organization it is today.
Jamal Amro
Co-Founder
Jamal Amro started his career as a truck driver and later transformed his fleet into a thriving transportation business. With expertise in both air and ocean cargo, Jamal’s industry knowledge and commitment to customer satisfaction have been key components in CR Express’ success over the years. Jamal’s strategic and hands on approach to doing business with clients continues to guide the company’s growth and ensure its position as a leader in the industry.
Bill Stortenbecker
VP, Operations
With almost 30 years of experience in the field of logistics and transportation, Bill is well-versed in the air and ocean verticals of freight forwarding and warehousing. He comes from the forwarding side of the business and now has the pleasure of servicing the companies that he knows most about. Bill continuously supports the growth of CR Express as the company continues to expand its service offerings.
Tony Memishi
VP, Transportation
Tony, one of the recent members to join the CR Express Leadership Team, presents 20+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, and finance. Tony has been largely successful in generating profitable growth through comprehensive financial analysis, strategic negotiations, and aligning with Corporate Policies & Procedures. He has a proven track record in implementing innovative fiscal programs that provide competitive edge, best practices, process improvement, revenue realization, and streamlined performance.
Alex Amro
Project Manager
Alex comes equipped with a background in finance and risk management, and is focused on implementing initiatives that are best in practice into the daily operations at CR Express. Along with his investment in client relationships and business development, Alex is deeply involved in making technological advancements like Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Real-Time Tracking/Tracing readily available to customers for an easier way to work with CR Express.
Derek Malazdra
Key Accounts Manager
Derek has 22 years of working experience with global logistics service providers, specializing in air transportation, automotive line production, pharmaceuticals, warehouse distribution for OEM warranty parts delivery, oversized cargo transportation, high-value shipments, and various experiences with full project coordination from pick up to final delivery/installation with final cost analysis.

Philanthropy
CR Express offers several funding opportunities to nonprofit organizations at a local, national, and global scale. Addressing basic needs like hunger, homelessness, low-income communities, and educating the workforce, CR Express remains fundamentally involved in charitable foundations.
CR Express’ staff also helps local communities through volunteerism, connecting non-profits and communities to much needed resources.

Boys and Girls Club
CR Express wrapped a Semi-Truck with the Boys and Girls Club Branding to Spread Awareness Statistics about the Free Membership Club. It also hosted an on-site tour to its headquarters to showcase how the logistics industry works and let the members of the club get a first-hand look at CR Express' day to day.
Wings Soccer Club
CR Express is a sponsor of the competitive soccer team, Wings SC. The Wings Soccer Club is located in the greater Chicagoland area and has teams from all age groups that compete at a local scale.
Ginger Creek Community Church
CR Express extended funding for a church mission trip to Mexico in order to help rebuild broken communities/homes.
